If Jesus and our love for him are central then we are his disciples and we can truly be called Christians. The disciples of Jesus are scattered across countless churches and denominations and fellowships, collectively belonging to the Body of Christ. Many of the differences that divide us in this world are man-made. We are all united by one faith, one Lord and one baptism. Over the many years of my stay in college, I attended four or three different churches and multiple fellowships in search of “something more” but only one affiliation has remained constant and guided my satisfactorily. That affiliation started not with a specific church or group but my acceptance of the forgiveness and salvation that comes through Jesus Christ.
